Biker Gang or Missionaries? Knights on Bikes Into the Light

These groups of bikers are unlike any other bikers you’ve ever met. “Knights on bikes, founded by Raymond Medina, a catholic motorcycle ministry by Knights of Columbus, are a group of men who love riding but are first and foremost committed to helping each other grow in faith and are dedicated to helping the community through various ministries. The Motorcycle evangelization thing is wonderful, because we get to get after we get to hit the roads we get to go. To these rallies we get to you know the camaraderie is great and we can you know it’s something that’s you know.

Other people can relate to we’ve put a positive image on on a biker. I shocked my own life when I stop and change the lady’s tire, because I you know my mom or my wives! out there I would hope somebody would do that for them and I scared that lady when I approached her because I’m a big man I’ve got black leather around and I’m riding on my Harley Davidson.

I changed her opinion on us and bikers and I changed her spare tire and sent her on her way. We’re more like evangelizing the community and also I guess disciples of what we do we got judges, attorneys, doctors you know doing the lord’s the lord’s job we all came from different lifestyles and different blocks and it brings us together and we have got such a tight.

Brotherhood somebody can talk to you that has the same interest, ideas feelings about your religion that you can feel free to talk about because you know talking about religion anywhere else is taboo. Anymore so you got guys coming in from almost 1500 miles away and their fellowship and camaraderie here is overwhelming the early Christians called each other brother and sister yeah and the Knights call each other brothers and that is really validated even with only three days experience walk up to anybody and say hi brother and they’ll say it back that’s really great getting out and just talking to people being personal shaking somebody’s hand you’d be surprised what you can do you can change a life you know all you got to do is just stop you know some ass are you okay you know how are you doing today you never know you might even save a life.
